Tips for Buying the Best Super Visa Insurance

You might get lost in the haze of options; when in search of the best Super Visa Insurance. Especially with the various policies, you might have to wade through to find the best option available for your situation; So, here are a few quick tips to get you in and out quickly;

  • Investigate about Super Visa Insurance Providers:

As the rule is for just about everything else; first-hand information on any subject is your best bet at getting anything done right. So do a little home work; maybe even request some quotes online and over the phone, and then compare the coverage prices available to you. But make sure that the quotes aren’t all that you’re looking at when you make a purchase.  Do well to do a comparison of the policies as well to see which works best for you.

  • Get Referrals :

Remember how the customer is always right? Well, they are also always the most reliable source of information as well. So, don’t restrict yourself to just the providers and their agents; ask other Super Visa Insurance users who they recommend.

  • Tell-All:

The worse mistake you can possibly make in life – besides lying to your lawyer and doctor; is to lie to your insurance broker or service provider. This is just as important as asking the right questions; make sure to let your insurance agent know every detail about your trip; include your past health history and any risky activities you want to enagage in.

  • Coverage Over Cost:

While it helps to compare rates so that you can pick one that won’t be too much of a rip-off; also remember that you only get what you pay for. So if you need to pay a premium for a quality coverage – well, you only live once.

  • Insure As Many as You Can at Once:

If both parents and/or grandparents are traveling all at once; it may help the cost to insure them all at once. And even if it doesn’t, it helps to lighten the paper work, so why not?

Grammarly Review – A tool I now use daily

GRAMMARLY – This Grammar check tool has become indispensable!

I first saw Grammarly as an advert on another website. At first, I wondered if it I could afford to install another plugin for my chrome browser. On second thoughts I decided to give it a spin. Wow!!! I am so glad I did. Since then I have introduced it to my wife and other friends. I have also instructed the people that work with me to make sure they have Grammarly installed.

In summary, for those who English is not their first language, Grammarly is a must-have. It does not just correct spelling mistakes, it corrects your grammar. For example, if you want to say “I read four books last month” and you mistakenly write “I red four books last month”, Grammarly would underline “red” to draw you attention to your error. How cool is that? That is not all. It can do more than that. It can also correct punctuation.

Like I said earlier, I literally stumbled onto Grammarly – not that I didn’t need a grammar/spell check program, but I wasn’t actively looking for one when it showed up as an ad, and after a good look at its perks and terms, I figured – I’ve got nothing to lose!

Well, approximately one month into my journey with Grammarly here’s my take on the program. I am an affiliate of this program. I use it and I recommend it highly, my suggestion is that you try it for FREE and decide for yourself. I am sure you would be glad you downloaded it.

But first,

What Does Grammarly Really Do?

The idea behind Grammarly is that  it flags up errors as you type posts in LinkedIn, WordPress, Tumblr, Gmail, Facebook and other platforms – and depending on whether or not you are willing to download the free browser extension that applies for it, it would also flag up errors in Ms Word or alternatively, documents can be uploaded or copied and pasted on your account and reviewed as well and when the Grammarly software finds a grammar mistake, it provides a detailed flash card with explanations and examples of how to improve the sentence.

Another useful accompanying feature in Grammarly is the plagiarism-detection tool; which is ideal for teachers and editors who suspect that their students or writers may have turned in copied material, and a comprehensive dictionary and thesaurus that writers can access anytime – and by simply highlighting a word you are provided with a contextual list of synonyms that could translate your writing to the next level.

How Much Does Grammarly Cost?

It’s free!

Okay, not entirely.

Grammarly offers two different packages – one is the free version and the other a premium version that is accompanied by additional features.

Using the free version entitles you to review of 100 points of free grammar, contextual spelling and punctuation errors – this does not include any features for vocabulary enhancement at all. And although it is free, it can be used anywhere on the web with Google Chrome, Mozilla or Safari browser.

The free version will help you get started immediately. You would get more than enough benefits from just using the free version. If you need more there is always more.

The Premium version includes (along with the features of the free version) 100+ additional advanced grammar and spelling checks, vocabulary enhancement suggestions, Genre-specific writing style checks and the plagiarism detector.

What to Love About Grammarly

I installed Grammarly on my computer and enabled its web browser plugins, and it proved beyond reasonable doubt that when it comes to detecting spelling, grammar and punctuation errors, the software clearly leads the pack.

It flags everything from a passive voice to commonly confused words and makes suggestions for corrections in sentence structure and punctuations in no more than a few seconds.

I suppose the most impressive thing about Grammarly is that it doesn’t flag any errors without providing accompanying reasons. The flashcards provided explain why each error was flagged as incorrect and the most likely alternatives to correct the errors. Not only does the approach elevate the writing of the user, it helps to further educate and strengthen future writing.

Grammarly also recognizes that different documents have different levels of formality, thus reviews are done specifically to the tone of the document concerned – and the ideals of emails, social media updates, blog posts, official documents, academic and technical documents were considered during the software’s design.

And to top things off, you can very easily switch from American to British English by simply clicking on the Grammarly logo and navigating to your profile.

Conclusion

If you are on my website because you are looking to write an invitation letter for someone, and you do not have Grammarly, then download it right now. You will be glad you did.

This post is one of those post that is born out of the need to answer a particular question over and over again on this website. Each time some asks what are the documents required for us visitor visa or what are the documents required for a US tourist visa, i give them the same answer. So here is the answer for all those that have this same question?

Official documents required for US visitor visa – From the government website.

In addition to visiting this website, I will suggest that you navigate from the webpage above to your country specific webpage. I have discovered that the visa office in each country may require a slightly different list of documents. Always check the website for your country to confirm that you have the updated list of required documents. Here is a link that will help you find the website for the US Embassy in your country. https://www.usembassy.gov/

Mandatory Documents required for us tourist visa – All classes of Applicants (B1/B2)

This means that if you plan to visit the USA from July 1st – July 30th, then your passport should be valid till at least December of that year. If you have Old Passports with visas on them, carry them along with you to the interview.
  2. Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 confirmation page – When you fill out the DS-160, you get a confirmation page at the end of the process. You will need to print a copy of it and bring it with you to your visa interview.

In addition to the mandatory documents, you may also need some documents to support the claims you made in your application form. Here are some of the documents you may need to prepare. Documents that show the following:

  • The purpose of your trip – Although an invitation letter is not mandatory, it is a good document to show the purpose of your trip. If you are going to visit a friend or family, a letter from them is an obvious proof of the purpose of your trip. You may also prepare a document from a tourism company showing the list of places you plan on visiting. A booking of the hotels or places you plan on staying (DO NOT MAKE PAYMENTS to these hotels).
  • Your intent to depart the United States after your trip – These are documents that show your ties to your home country. Birth certificates of your children, Letters from your employer showing that you are on vacation and all other documents that shows that you plan on returning to your home country immediately after your visit to the USA.
  • Your ability to pay all costs of the trip – You should prepare your bank statement, pay slips and business documents to show that you have the ability to pay for the trip. If you will be sponsored partially or fully by your host, then you will need those documents from your host. Take note however that if you are being fully sponsored, it will be difficult for you to show that you will return to your home country after your visit.

How do I know which Document to take to the visa interview or not?

The rule of thumb is to take all documents that you think will be helpful to you. However do not bring out any document that the visa officer does not ask for. How to get a US Visa without Invitation Letter

Visiting the US? No invitation letter necessary

Are you planning visit the USA as a tourist, and you do not have an invitation letter? You can apply for a B2 (tourist) Visa without having someone in the USA to send you an invitation letter. We have created a guide that will take you through the entire process of getting a visa without an invitation letter. Although procedures vary in different embassies and consulates, there are a few processes that you need to go through to get a visa.

The Invitation Letter for Visa is not Required

It should be noted that when you are applying for a non – immigrant visa, you will never be asked to show your invitation letter. Therefore, you should not be worrying, because your application won’t be refused if you do not have an invitation letter. There are other more important documents than this letter that you must have with you. Here is what the USA visa office has to say about the invitation letter.

US Consulate on Invitations

Here is the whole process of getting a US visa without an invitation letter

Everyone who wants to enter the USA as a tourist, must apply for a visitor visa. This can easily be done at every U.S Embassy or Consulate around the world. Visit the place and they will provide you with the necessary information.

What documents do you need to get a visitor visa?

First of all, you will need some evidence of a financial support. You will be asked to show the appropriate documentation where the authorities can see that you have enough finances to support yourself during your stay in the USA. A bank statement that shows your current balance would be enough.

Filling out the application form is another important part of the process. You can do this online, or you can go to the USA Embassy in your country and ask for an application form. Once you fill it out, you must provide a suitable photo of yourself which is part of the application documentation. The photos must be in color, taken within the last few months on a white background with your face facing the camera.

Once you are done with the application, you must provide an evidence that shows that you will go back home to your country. Most of the applications get denied simply because the applicants do not submit an evidence of ties to the home country.

Visa Interview

Now, it is time to schedule a meeting with a consular officer of the USA Embassy in your country. Do not forget to take all the documents with you on the day of the interview. During the interview, the consular officer will determine whether or not you are eligible to get a US visa and if you are, they will approve it within the next few days or immediately (it depends from the country you live in).  Once you get an approval, they will give you instructions on how you can get the necessary documents along with the visa. The length to stay will be determined by the officer, but if you are visiting for the first time, you won’t be allowed to stay longer than six months.

Invitation Letter for Visa – Should it be Notarized?

Over the years many of my readers have asked if they should notarize their Invitation or sponsorship letters. There really is no specific answers to this question. I have written a couple of letters to friends and relatives and I did not notarize the letters. However, for some countries and some countries one is expected to submit a notarized copy.

My suggestion is that you takes some time to read the requirements of the visa office that will be processing your guests application. For example, if you are inviting your cousin from Lagos Nigeria to New York USA, then you would need to search for the visa office of USA in Nigeria and read the requirements. This requirements change from time to time so it is a good idea to go over it each time you need to write an invitation letter.

To find the visa office that is responsible for your guest’s visa application, simply type “visa Office of Country you reside in – Country your guest resides in” For example – United States of America visa office Nigeria.

Usually you should choose the website that contains .gov in it. There are many websites that try to mimic the official website. Be careful to choose the one that has the .gov extension. In our example it will be the 5th website listed in the screen above.

Once you find the site that you are looking for. Simply navigate to the visa page and look for the requirements for applying for a tourist visa. You will usually find a checklist in which you will be able to confirm if a notarized invitation letter is needed or not.

My Personal Advice – I would advice that the letter be notarized. It shows that the document is authentic and there is someone in the country other than the host who confirms the validity of the proposed trip.
