Ecrire une lettre d’invitation pour le visa Canadien

For those who prefer the letter in French! Here is a sample invitation letter in French!

 

Une lettre d’invitation est d’habitude nécessaire si vous allez visiter un ami ou un membre de la famille. Tout ce que vous avez besoin de faire est de demander à votre ami de vous envoyer une lettre d’invitation. Envoyez-les toutes les informations vous concernant et laissez-les écrire la lettre. Je vous propose de leur demander de vous envoyer la lettre par voie postale, ensuite, vous pourrez placer celle-ci dans une enveloppe pré-timbrée dans votre paquet d’application.  L’enveloppe pré-timbrée est importante car cela montre une forme d’authenticité. Cependant, avant d’envoyer la lettre, demander à votre ami de scanner la lettre signée et de vous envoyer une copie par courriel. Vous utiliserez cette copie si vous ne recevez pas le courrier à temps. Mes amis et ma famille ont utilisé la lettre scannée plusieurs fois et cela a bien fonctionné. Toutefois, je vous propose d’utiliser la copie originale.

Quand j’ai écrit ma première invitation il y a quelques années, je n’avais pas d’idée à propos de ce qu’elle devrait contenir. Donc, j’ai été sur le site de l’Immigration Canada et j’ai trouvé un guide. Vous pouvez trouver le guide ici – Guide pour lettre d’invitation pour l’immigration au Canada.

Voici ce que devrait contenir la lettre d’invitation. Cette liste est adressée à la personne qui écrit la lettre. Envoyez-leur simplement un lien à cette page pour un bon fonctionnement.

Votre lettre devrait inclure les informations suivantes à propos de la personne étant invitée :

  • Nom complet.
  • Date de naissance.
  • L’adresse et le numéro de téléphone.
  • Votre lien de parenté.
  • La raison du voyage.
  • Combien de temps la personne que vous invitez à l’intention de rester.
  • Les détails sur le logement et les dépenses.
  • La date à laquelle votre invité(e) compte quitter le Canada.

 

Votre lettre devrait aussi inclure les informations suivantes à propos de la personne qui écrit la lettre:

  • Nom complet.
  • Date de naissance.
  • L’adresse et le numéro de téléphone au Canada.
  • Son emploi / sa profession.
  • Votre citoyenneté ou votre résidence permanente.
  • Une photocopie de document prouvant votre statut au Canada. Par exemple, un certificat de naissance canadien si vous êtes né au Canada ou une carte de citoyenneté canadienne si vous naturalisé citoyen canadien. Si vous êtes un résident permanent, vous devez envoyer une preuve de votre statut de résidence permanente ( une copie de votre RP ou votre preuve IMM 1000 d’entrée).

How to write an Invitation Letter for Canadian Visa

An invitation letter for Canadian Visa is simply a regular invitation letter that contains details of the invitee, that are relevant for visa applications. The invitation is one of the documents that a travel visa applicant will present during the application for a travel visa.

Your letter must include the following information about the person being invited:

* Complete name.
* Date of birth.
* The person’s address and telephone number.
* Your relationship to the person being invited.
* The purpose of the trip.
* How long the person you are inviting intends to stay in Canada.  * Details on accommodation and living expenses.
* The date the person you are inviting intends to leave Canada.

Your letter must also include the following information about the person writing the letter:

* Complete name.
* Date of birth.
* Address and telephone number in Canada.
* Occupation.
* Whether you are a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
* A photocopy of a document proving your status in Canada. For instance, a Canadian birth certificate if you were born in Canada or a Canadian citizenship card if you are a naturalized citizen. If you are Permanent Resident, you must send proof of your permanent resident status (a copy of your PR card or your IMM 1000 proof of landing).

Do not forget to send a scanned copy of your passport or permanent resident card. If you are able to notarize the letter, it will be fine. Personally I have not notarized any of my letters and visas have been issued.
